Evening Marsh Exploration Nature Quest

July 27th, 2022 (rain day: July 28^th)

5:30pm to 7:00pm

Join us on our Evening Marsh Exploration to learn more about the species that call the marsh home and explore this Nature Reserve that is otherwise closed to the public.

Bert and Millie’s Marsh contains plentiful wetland and forest ecosystems, providing habitat for a number of bird, mammal, reptile, amphibian, and plant species.

Bring – comfortable hiking shoes, sunscreen and a hat, bug repellent, water and snacks, and binoculars or a camera if you have them

Learn about –

• Marsh and swamp wetlands
• The flora and fauna that call Bert and Millie’s Marsh home
• Invasive species and how they are managed

Difficulty Level – easy-moderate, some uneven terrain with some hills.

(park along side of Lone Pine Drive – specifics will be given with registration)
