March 22nd, 2022 at 10:00 - Muskoka Conservancy held a webinar / conversation with NisoMakwa, who talked about Indigenous culture and environmental preservation. NisoMakwa is a two-spirit founding member of Qalipu Mikmaq of Newfoundland. He has lived in Bracebridge for the past two years and is an activist for climate change, Indigneous rights.. He's also a part of the Champions Committee for the IDEA advisory group and works with the MIA and MIFC.
