The Little Sprouts Eco-Club was founded in 2015 with just 11 little nature stewards at our first monthly meeting.
Since then it has grown to over 500 group members and between 50 and 100 children of all ages attending our monthly outings.
What does it take to become a Little Sprout?
It's a commitment to learn to love nature right here in our own back yard.
Our group is open to all ages and is family inclusive.
There are no membership fees so it's free for anyone to join and learn to care for our wild spaces in Muskoka.
The Eco-Club meets monthly with an environmental theme and free activity that the whole family can enjoy.
Past events have included blueberry picking at Barkway Farms, a tour of the local recycling plant,
learning about healthy water with the Watershed Council and planting pollinator gardens.
Whatever the activity, we ensure the kids are learning with an emphasis on fun.
We want to see Little Sprouts grow into Nature Stewards that commit a lifetime to enjoying and caring for our natural environment.
Click here to go to the Little Sprouts Facebook page or searching Little Sprouts Eco-Club in Muskoka in Facebook.
You will find our monthly events and other nature activities posted there.
We hope you'll join us in protecting and learning to love nature together.
