Hike/Webinar Leaders

If you are passionate about a certain topic and want to share your knowledge with others, this is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you!

Role Responsibilities:

·       Prepare for and lead a Webinar on a nature topic of your choice/expertise (eg. Plant ID, animal tracks, insects, fungi etc.) and/OR a Nature Quest Guided Hike on one of Muskoka Conservancy’s Nature Reserves

Qualifications:

·       Must be knowledgeable about the nature topic you plan to speak about

·       Should have experience in education and be comfortable speaking to various audiences

·       For Webinars: experience with online technology (ppt, Teams etc.)

·       For Nature Quests: comfortable leading a group on a trail/through the woods

·       We are always looking for Special Guest Speakers/Hike Leaders to share their expertise on different and interesting nature topics to help connect the community to nature
