Clean Up Crew

Do you enjoy getting your hands dirty and making a difference in the community? Consider joining the Clean Up Crew!

Earth Week is our usual clean up time, but there will be other opportunities available throughout the year as necessary. 

Role Responsibilities

• Work with a partner to pick up and bag garbage found on and around a Nature Reserve
• Be aware of your surroundings while working along roadways.

Qualifications

• Able to be on your feet for long periods
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Equipment

• Muskoka Conservancy provides gloves, garbage bags, and high visibility vests.
• Our supplies are limited, however, so if you do have your own gloves and high visibility vests, please bring them.

Picking up garbage ensures that the natural environment stays beautiful while simultaneously protecting wildlife, soil and ecosystems from contaminants and materials that could potentially become hazardous to them.
