Clean Up Crew

Do you enjoy getting your hands dirty and making a difference in the community? Consider joining the Clean Up Crew!

Earth Week is a standard clean up time, but there will be other opportunities available throughout the year as necessary. 

Role Responsibilities:

·       Work with a partner to pick up and bag garbage found on and around a Nature Reserve

·       Be aware of your surroundings while working along roadways

Qualifications:

·       Able to be on your feet for long periods

·       Able to lift up to 30 lbs

Equipment:

MC will provide gloves, garbage bags, and high visibility vests upon arrival. It is encouraged to bring your own gloves and high vis as we have a limited amount.

Why we do it:

Picking up garbage ensures that the natural environment stays beautiful while simultaneously protecting wildlife, soil and ecosystems from contaminants and materials that could potentially become hazardous to them.
