Dana is deeply committed to conserving the natural environment for current and future generations. She has had an extensive career developing policy and legislation related to land use planning and municipal policy as an Assistant Deputy Minister with the provincial government. This has included policies for environmental protection and the operation of the Niagara Escarpment Commission. She has BA from the University of Toronto, an LLB and MPA from Queen’s University. Dana has experienced the natural environment of Muskoka and Georgian Bay for many years with family and friends, often with an artist’s eye for beauty, and now cottages on an island near Honey Harbour.
