Shoreline Stewardship Program

Shoreline stewardship prgm

Muskoka Conservancy’s Shoreline Stewardship Program was established to help improve the quality of Muskoka’s shorelines and wildlife habitat connectivity, reduce human impact on lake and river water quality, and empower landowners to undertake simple shoreline restoration projects.

Do you have questions about the health of your shoreline? Are you interested in advice to help address concerns including erosion or the presence of Canada Geese? We would be happy to help! Our personalized landowner consultations involve meeting at your property, discussing the concerns you have regarding your shoreline, and offering advice to help address your questions. These visits are typically about an hour in length, and our qualified volunteers will provide project resources if required. Visits can be arranged to accommodate your schedule.

Landowner consultations fee – $100

If you are interested in arranging a personalized landowner consultation, please contact:

Jenn LeMesurier at jlemesurier @ muskokaconservancy.org or 705-645-7393 ext. 200

If you are interested in having us speak to your interest group (for example: Rotary Club, lake association, Probus Club, etc.) regarding shoreline stewardship, please contact us.
