The Muskoka Conservancy protects properties across Muskoka in the form of Nature Reserves and Conservation Easements.
As of January 2018, we have under our protection:
- 39 Properties
- 2,400+ acres of land (9.71 km2)
- 40,000 feet of shoreline (12,192 meters)
- 426 acres of wetland
These properties range from the very small to the very large and spread throughout Muskoka.
Nature Reserves are owned by Muskoka Conservancy and several allow for public access. Please contact us at 705-645-7393 ext 200 to learn more.
Conservation Easements are private property protected in perpetuity for nature. These may be accessed as part of our guided Nature Quest program.
