The Muskoka Conservancy relies on donations of all kinds to operate.  Perhaps most importantly, donations of time and expertise.  The level of time and commitment is variable based on the individual.  We continuously seek to build our strong base of volunteer skills including the following areas:

  • Natural sciences
  • Photography
  • GPS
  • GIS
  • Recording
  • Stewardship
  • Habitat naturalization
  • Native plant identification
  • Office administration
  • Communications
  • Event planning
  • Event coordination
  • Fundraising

We encourage people to approach us with an interest in volunteering and a set of expertise or idea that goes beyond the list above.  Often times specific expertise and personal passions can be aligned with the organizations operations to create unique and rewarding volunteer opportunities.
